Absolutely! Dressing up is half the fun, and you’ll see thousands of guests and staff rocking their finest Lederhosen and Dirndls. If traditional Bavarian Trachten isn't in your closet, we highly encourage you to dust off your favorite Western wear instead! Whether it's boots and cowboy hats or alpine aprons and leather breeches, it’s all about celebrating our dual heritages.
Yes! General admission to The Denver Wiesn is completely free.
You do not need a ticket to enter the main festival grounds, explore the traditional marketplace, enjoy the outdoor plazas, or take in the live entertainment and music.
To help plan your visit, please keep these three details in mind:
Parking: The National Western Center manages all on-site parking lots and charges a flat fee of $15 per vehicle. To save on parking, we highly recommend ridesharing or taking the RTD N-Line train one stop away from the National Western Center Station.
VIP Tables & Dinner Packages: While entry is free, you can elevate your experience by purchasing exclusive VIP Table Reservations and curated Bavarian Dinner Packages.
Food & Drink: All festival food, biers, wines and official merchandise are available for purchase on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Yes! We feature delicious food, festive entertainment, and activities curated for all ages. Plus, we are thrilled to feature a towering Observation Wheel, offering stunning views of the entire Festival and the autumn skyline!
We love our four-legged friends, but for the safety and comfort of all guests given the high crowds, loud music, and indoor/outdoor configuration, pets are not permitted inside the main Festival gates. Well-behaved, certified service animals are always welcome.
We chose our October dates for two great reasons: tradition and comfort! Historically, the Munich Oktoberfest was an autumn harvest finale that concluded in October. By hosting our event now, we capture that authentic crisp autumn atmosphere, avoid the scorching late-summer heat, and ensure you can comfortably rock your finest wool Lederhosen and Dirndls while enjoying a cold bier.
Unlike typical neighborhood street fairs, The Denver Wiesn is a true cultural bridge. We pride ourselves on preserving the uncompromising standards, imported flavors, and deep-rooted traditions of a Munich Wiesn, while proudly reflecting the local lifestyle and community character of the Rocky Mountain region.
